A BIG THANKS to Everyone at the September Clean Up!

A couple weeks ago a bunch of really great folk came out to help clean up Caswell back alleys.  They did a FANTASTIC JOB!  Here are the clean up results:

  • A total of 4 Loraas roll-off bins were emptied with a total weight of waste removed = 4,870 kgs
  • 6 tires were collected and taken to A-1 tire for recycling
  • 2 Inland Steel scrap-metal collection bins of diverted metal were emptied with a total weight diverted = 2430 lbs

Thanks everybody!

Trucks needed at Caswell Fall Clean Up this weekend!

People with trucks are needed to help with the Fall Clean Up!  This Saturday, September 26th, 10am – 2pm, we’re meeting at Caswell Community School parking lot: 204 – 30th Street West to to clean back lanes around our beautiful neighbourhood.

The more volunteers and trucks we have, the more areas we can clean up!  This is a great way to meet your neighbours and explore and beautify our alleys.  There will be a safety debriefing before breaking into teams.  Gloves and closed-toe footwear are strongly advised.  Questions, please call Justin at 306-242-5977.

Fall Caswell Clean Up 2015

Once or twice a year, residents of Caswell Hill gather to clean back lanes around our beautiful neighbourhood. Come and join us on Saturday, September 26th, 10am – 2pm, meet your neighbours and explore and beautify our alleys.

Meet at Caswell Community School parking lot: 204 – 30th Street West. There will be a safety debriefing before breaking into teams.

NOTE: The community clean up is a wholly volunteer event: participants are not to endanger themselves. Volunteers are encouraged to leave anything behind that is questionable and report it to the clean-up leader.

Areas to be cleaned will be chosen at random depending on how many resources turn up on the day – the more VOLUNTEERS and TRUCKS we have on the day the more we can get accomplished.

– Gloves & Closed-Toe Footwear Strongly Advised.

Any questions, please call Justin at 306-242-5977.
